In 1869, one of the deepest caves in the state, Marvel Cave, was discovered on the outskirts of Branson. In 1894, it became a popular tourist attraction, drawing crowds to its Cathedral Room — a large, dome-shaped sinkhole entrance — and Blondie’s Throne, a throne-shaped flowstone formation. In 1960, Silver Dollar City theme park was built on top of the cave. In 1972, the National Park Service designated Marvel Cave a National Natural Landmark.

We base children’s pricing on their age at the time of travel. Their reservation has to be booked and paid for in order for you to check them in.

Please remember to book a reservation for everyone you’re bringing along on your DreamTrip before you travel. Otherwise, they’ll be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.

Gratuities are not included. We suggest US$3 per day for housekeeping, and US$4 per bag for porterage.

Silver Dollar City theme park has many steep hills and requires a great deal of walking.

Wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles at Silver Dollar City:
• Wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) are available to rent on a first-come basis for a fee: US$40.50 per day for ECVs; US$9 per day for wheelchairs. A convenience fee of US$3.50 will be charged for each ECV reservation.
• Advance reservations are recommended and must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
• Reservations can be made here, or by calling 800-475-9370.
• There are a limited number of reservations taken each day and payment is required in advance.
• Cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance in order to receive a refund.
• The guest using the ECV must be able to operate the ECV independently.
• Guests between 16 and 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian at least 21 years old sign the rental agreement.
• All guests must follow park rules and the manufacturer’s guidelines and instructions given to the guest during the rental transaction.
• Only 1 guest per ECV or wheelchair is permitted.
• For participant safety reasons, the weight limit is 400 pounds (181 kilograms).

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 91 days or more before your trip, you’ll get a refund less a fee of US$50. If you cancel between 46 and 90 days before your trip, you’ll get a refund less a fee of US$100. If you cancel within 45 days of your trip, your trip will not be refunded. All fees are on a per-person basis.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 45 days or more before the start date of your trip, there will be no fee for the name change(s). If you change any name(s) on your booking 44 to 31 days before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.

Members can’t combine DreamTrips Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.

Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit.

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

Make sure that your passport and visa, if applicable, are up-to-date before you leave! It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date. If you are unable to obtain the required identification and other documentation, the Cancellation Policy for this DreamTrip will apply.
